Smith & Wesson's Model 1000

Many long time waterfowlers will remember Smith & Wesson's Model 1000 waterfowl gun from the '70s. Smith & Wesson now returns to the shotgun business with their new Turkish-made 1000-Series semi-autos that features the 1012 Super chambered for 31⁄2-inch magnums. With chrome-lined bores, five choke tubes and a shim kit to adjust the stock for drop and cast, this is an excellent, yet not too pricy semi-auto. The S&W Silver Elite over/under is made in Turkey in the choice of 26-, 28- and 30-inch barrels with screw-in chokes.
