Pennsylvania’s undergoing a heated debate over legislation that seeks to lift the ban from Sunday hunting. According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation, “lifting the ban would shift authority to regulate Sunday hunting from the General Assembly, where it currently resides, to the Game Commission.” The regulatory switch sounds pretty l
ogical (We’re pretty sure the Game Commission knows a little more about hunting than the General Assembly), but the issue of going afield on Sunday is still hotly debated. At hand is a lot of time and money—and a lot of thought that a day off from hunting once a week is needed by all. Both sides have interesting perspectives.
What do you think? Are you a Sunday waterfowl hunter?
