The new Black Ice Duck Call from Hunter's Specialties features an innovative double-reed system in a single-reed frame to give today's duck hunters the quality and versatility they demand. The insert has a port in the side to allow the hunter to sound like the multiple mallard hens by simply covering or uncovering the port with his finger while calling. Each call is produced from tough, injection-molded polycarbonate with an aluminum band and is individually tuned by hand. A Santoprene wedge is used to lock the reeds in place for maximum consistency. Black Ice has excellent range, volume, and rasp, and should be a part of every duck hunter's gear this coming season.
