Zink Calls asked Junior World Champion goose caller Kile Jones to design the Nightmare on Stage. The NOS features Zink's "worn" tone channel system and a streamlined barrel and end piece, all of which give the call great volume and speed.

The call has metal-flake acrylic with flame engraving and Jones' laser-etched signature. The Power Hen PH-2 Double Magnum is a tree-shakingly loud duck call with two .014-inch thick reeds to provide the raspy sound of a real mallard.
