Kyle Sanders, co-owner of 737 Duck Calls said the event was a huge hit. "Duck hunting has gotten more popular in the last few years and there are lots of new people coming into the sport, but there are not many duck calling competitions in the area. We've created the perfect gathering place with our shop and decided to share it with our community. The calling contest almost seemed to take second place to folks showing up just wanting to hang out and enjoy themselves—and besides, there aren’t many places you can go to blow duck calls, drink bourbon, smoke a cigar, and buy ammo at the same time.”
The fun festivities also included games, signature drinks from the on-site bar, music and television, vendor booths, patio partying, an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil from Hollywood Seafood Company, and of course, testing out the latest 737 duck and goose call models.
