When waterfowl hunting more often than not a large body of water stands between you and the ducks. These situations require a solid duck boat. The Roughneck R1760MT from Lowe Boats fits the bill. The 17-foot R1760MT has an 83-inch beam, a bottom width of 60 inches and a transom height of 20 inches. Weight capacity is 1,545 pounds, allowing the boat to carry a total of seven hunters plus some gear. The R1760MT is geared for an optional mud motor with up to a 65hp capacity. Other features include receiver gunnel, open floor plan, raised front casting deck and full aluminum floor liner.
