DJ Call produces loud, crisp sounds. The flute-style goose call has an acrylic barrel, reed base and wedge. The reed base and wedge are hand ground for true tones. The DJA-20 brings the dying art of call tuning back to duck hunting. This cut-down Arkansas-style duck call has a hard-rubber tonal plug, like the ones old-time duck hunters tinkered with until they got just the right sound. The call is available with either a black vinyl or white Mylar reed. The traditional black vinyl is easier to blow and has a raspier sound. The white Mylar reed is tougher and can be blown harder without distortion.
