According to the folks at Bill Saunder's Calls, "Coupe" is a term used among guides and hardcore waterfowlers to describe a ton of ducks, a waterfowling honey-hole. Saunder's new Coupe duck call was designed and tested by rabid duck hunters for realism, but don't let its small size fool you; this single reed call has a big, top-end and gets down and dirty with hypnotic quacks, cuts and whines on the bottom end.
The Coupe is equally at home in the open marsh, as well as timber holes and creek bottoms. It offers plenty of volume on the top, but also can be run whisper quiet to finish those late season, wary mallards.
If you're in need of a dirty, seductive, raw mallard hen call, then the Coupe is what you're looking for. Contact: Bill Saunder's Calls; (509) 582-0190; www.billsaunderscalls.com.
