DeLorme Earthmate PN-60W

DeLorme introduces the Earthmate PN-60w with SPOT Satellite Communicator, the first handheld GPS navigation device capable of sending text messages even when the user is far beyond range of cellular service.

The technology allows users to summon help in emergencies and provides real-time location updates. As a stand-alone GPS, the unit delivers premium navigation features, including a 32-channel GPS chipset, 3-axis electronic compass, elevation profiles and GPX file transfers.
